Happy November from your Laureate Park PTA.  This month is full of exciting events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our amazing school.  Here is what’s coming up:

🍎 Volunteer Opportunities

We have many incredible opportunities where you can make a difference AND have fun: The holiday spirit is in the air, and we have some INCREDIBLE volunteer opportunities coming up that will make this season extra special for our Longhorns! Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking to jump in for the first time, we have the perfect way for you to get involved and create lasting memories.

Here's how you can spread some LPE joy:

🛒 Spirit Cart: Click Here

· January 30th, February 27th, March 27th

· Time Slots: 10:30-12:00 & 12:00-1:30

· Watch our students' faces light up as they "spend" their hard-earned Longhorn Bucks on treasures! It's pure magic seeing their excitement as they choose their rewards.

· November 6th

· Time Slots: 5:00-7:30 (various shifts available)

· Help us create an unforgettable evening of family fun! From setup to cleanup, every volunteer makes this community celebration possible.

· Week of November 17th-21st

· Various time slots still available; schedule is based on your child’s art day during specials

· Help keep the creativity flowing as ALL students paint their holiday masterpieces on canvas! Volunteer during your child's art period and watch them create something special. A tutorial video will be provided so you'll know exactly what to do!

· November 17th

· Time Slots: 8:45-10:30 & 10:30-12:15

· Help capture those perfect smiles! A behind-the-scenes look at getting our students camera-ready.

🌲 Holiday Shop Decorating: Click Here

· November 17th-21st

· Time Slots: 9:00-12:00 (10:00-12:00 on Nov 19th only)

· Transform our space into a winter wonderland (theme TBD)! Join the creative team that makes our Holiday Shop absolutely magical.

· December 1st-5th & December 8th-12th

· Various time slots throughout both weeks; please be sure to communicate with your student's teacher/room mom if you are wanting to volunteer on the day/time your child will be at the shop! The schedule has not yet been released! 

· Be part of the excitement as students shop for their families and friends! This beloved tradition lets kids experience the joy of giving, and volunteers get front-row seats to all the heartwarming moments.

· December 17th

· Time Slot: 1:30-3:30

· Help us celebrate the season with our LPE teachers and staff in style!

· Time Slots: 5:00-6:15 & 6:15-7:30

· Help us kick off the LPE new year with a cozy outdoor movie experience for families!

Important Reminder: Please pay close attention to grade-level when signing up; and watch from communication from your teacher on specific days or times they will be taking their class! All volunteers must be approved through Additions. Click here to apply!

Teachers’ Corner 🍎

Congratulations to Miss Plumer’s Kindergarten Class! 

A big shoutout to Miss Plumer’s class for being the top fundraising class for Boosterthon! Their energy, teamwork, and school pride helped lead the way in this year’s event.

As a special reward, they’ll get to choose the movie for our Movie on the Lawn in January — from our special movie list! 🍿🎬

Way to go, Little Longhorns — we’re so proud of you! 💛💙

Coming Soon!!

 🚂❄️ Mark your calendars — the Holiday Shoppe is pulling into the station Dec 1–12! Students will get to shop for their loved ones and spread some holiday cheer! Your student’s teacher will let you know once they have an assigned time to shop. 💕
